London Bridge.. is calling!

Pinikpikan (and Cynthia Alexander, Razorback, Kapatid, etc.) bassist Louie Talan leaves for London soon to participate in a UK contest for young music entrepreneurs! Wow. Go fafa Louie!

Louie is indeed a young music entrepreneur--he has his own recording studio where he has produced albums of some of the more important Manila acts (hanep sa cliche' di ba? pero true) . Siya na siguro ang totoong advocate ng raw music dahil hate nya manufactured music. Like nya ang music na talagang original recording at hindi daya. Everybody loves Louie and some love him more than we do, hehe.

soft side of Aldana

if you are curious about our bandmate, Butch Aldana, who is a serious performer, here is his soft side. in this pix, we were on our way to Aklan port where we are to ride a banca to Boracay. but on our way there, sobra init sa van na sinakyan namin. marami kaming dalang gamit at mahina aircon ng van. typically usual in the Flipinas. with Butch are Gerry and Budeths. Dante's serious look indicates he knows i might put this pix on blog. just do not copy at baka ma-slander case pa tayo. hehe.

Pinikpikan plays live at cool SaGuijo bar, Guijo Street, San Antonio Village, Makati City. May 26, usually at 11:00p.m. be there early to listen to younger front act bands.
